The Pawn Shop: a short film

My short film The Pawn Shop is now available to watch!

It was January of 2023 when I first – and last – wrote to you about this project, just after it had finished filming.

The premise of the short film:

In an unusual pawn shop, a young father tries to improve his family’s situation by trading away a priceless object– an exchange that leads his daughter to make a trade he would give anything to undo.

There is more to say about this movie than one post can contain, but first of all I wanted to share it with you after the long wait.

In the meantime, let these few comments suffice:

• The process could not have been more life-giving.
• The finished product could not have felt more worth the wait.
• I could not be more excited for the next project…!
